Below is a list of our small groups and their normal meeting times.

Note: Groups meeting Sunday mornings are the adult classes available in our Family Ministries.
These are in addition to our classes for children and youth (nursery through 12th grade).

Sundays at 9:00 AM ~ "Discovering God’s Way to Handle Money" ~
   Did you know that the Bible talks more about money than any other subject? Many peple are experiencing financial challenges. They are facing growing debt, little or no savings, inadequate income, and no plans for the future. God knows what we are like and that we are prone to struggle with money. Come and discover God's principles for success in this critical area of life.This group meets from September until December.

Sundays at 9:00 AM ~ "Surviving The Secret" ~
   In today's world, research shows that many females have been victims of sexual abuse while growing up. As improbable as it sounds to some victims, there is hope for recovery. This group provides a safe enviroment to heal.

Sundays at 9:00 AM ~ "Bad Girls Of The Bible" ~
   Ladies' Group - Ten of the Bible's best-known femmes fatales parade across the pages of this book with situations that sound oh-so familar!

Sundays at 9:00 AM ~ "The Principle of the Path" ~
   How do you get from where you are to where you want to be? What if there was one simple idea that explained why so many people get lost along the way? This class will be using the above named book by Andy Stanley...

Mondays at 6:00 PM ~ "Chronological Bible Study" ~
   (Twice monthly) Do you realize the books of the Bible are not arranged chronologically? Could that contribute to the confusion you've felt while reading it? Using the chronological Bible, this group is making their way through the Old Testament.

Tuesdays at 6:30 PM ~ "Men’s Fraternity" ~
   This study focuses on a man's core identity and gives an overview of basic manhood issues. It will help guys deal with various identity issues by looking back at past wounds and other things that may have distorted their biblical masculinity. All men, ages 19 and over are welcome!

Wednesdays at 6:00 PM ~ "Twelve Steps for Christians" ~
   This group will merge the practical wisdom of the Twelve Steps with the spiritual turths of the Bible. You'll work a traditional Twelve-Step program and name Jesus as your 'Higher Power'. The authors of "The Twelve Steps for Christians" have both a theoretical and personal understanding as a result of their own recovery journeys. They know first-hand how God can use the spiritual essence of the Twelve Steps to transform their lives. This is a journey worth taking and the best part... you don't have to take it alone.

Wednesdays at 6:30 PM ~ "For Men Only" ~
   Ted Roberts has written in his book Pure Desire, "All too often, men's lives are publicly shattered by sexual sin that has been going on secretly for years, eroding their lives from the inside out." Here at QVBC, we are committed to the idea that long term health and recovery takes place within the Body of Christ and in particular, small groups. Our FMO group is intended for men who are willing to join other men to experience God's supernatural healing through accountability, truth telling and other spiritual disciplines that bring wholeness back into their lives.A meeting with one of the group leaders (via phone or in person) is required before attending this group.

Thursdays at 6:30 PM ~ "Louder Than Words" ~
   How important is your character? The Apostle Paul placed a HUGE emphasis on unblemished character and listed it as the first qualification for Christian leadership...

Thursdays at 7:00 PM ~ "The Apostle Paul - A Journey of Grace" ~
   Have you ever wondered why this man we call Paul was selcted to be the authour of mos of the New Testament? So much for background checks! God is all about redemption!

Thursdays at 7:30 PM ~ "Anger" ~
   "Anger can be either very good or very harmful. What you do with it makes all the difference."
