SMALL GROUPS are a BIG PART of Quaboag!
Below is a list of our small groups and their normal meeting times.
For more information on our groups, contact the church office at (508) 867-5920.
Note: Groups meeting Sunday mornings are the adult classes available in our Family Ministries.
These are in addition to our classes for children and youth (nursery through 12th grade).

Sundays at 10:00 am ~ "Living In Balance (Men's Group)" ~
“Living in Balance,” does it sound impossible? Especially in the crazy world we live in and the time crunches we find ourselves under. Did you know the Apostle Paul, now old and seasoned when writing I Timothy, had great advice for this ‘young buck’ about this very topic? How do we, as men, keep our focus and live by our priorities? How do we not succumb to distractions in our walk with God? How do we know when our head hits the pillow that we have a ‘thumbs up’ for the day from heaven? The answer may surprise you and be less complicated than you think.

Sundays at 10:00 AM ~ "Becoming Spiritually Beautiful (Women's Group)" ~
Years ago in a women’s group we did a book, “Your Scars Are Beautiful to God” by Sharon Jaynes. It turned out to be a great study and a wonderful tool for healing, so doing another book by her is exciting. Using Scripture, stories and practical application, the author will help us learn to walk as women who know we are dearly loved, uniquely created and greatly loved by God. What would our lives look like if we actually lived those truths? Do you want to experience a faith lift, make over your thought life, and lose emotional weight by leaving the past behind? Then you will want to join us Sunday mornings expecting God to show up.

Mondays at 6:00 PM ~ "Chronological Bible Study" ~
(Twice monthly) Do you realize the books of the Bible are not arranged chronologically? Could that contribute to the confusion you've felt while reading it? Using the chronological Bible, this group is making their way through the Old Testament.

Tuesdays at 6:30 PM ~ "Whats so Amazing About Grace?" ~
Did you know there is nothing you can do to make God love you more? Also true, there is nothing you can do to make God love you less. The opening illustration in Phil Yancey’s book grabs you. Do you realize that when Jesus walked the earth the worse a person felt about themselves, the more likely they were drawn to Him? boes the church extend that same welcome to the ‘down & outs’ today? Do you? Do we know what grace is? What does it look like? Grace just might change your life.

Tuesdays at 7:00 pm ~ "Diagnosing Your Spiritual Health" ~
So, how healthy do you think you are? Spiritually, that is! We rely on doctors to tell us when something is not physically right, but where do we go for a spiritual checkup? This study will give you some tools to help you assess your spiritual growth. Knowing those trouble areas is the first step in getting better. There will be lots of questions and lots of discussion.

Tuesdays at 7:00 PM ~ "Foundations" ~
Having begun your walk as a new Christian, what do you need to know? Where do you start? Or maybe you’ve been sharing your faith but you need a refresher course in the basics. This group will walk you through the essentials such as: Who is Jesus? What role does the Holy Spirit play? Can I pray anytime? Is my salvation forever? It’s a great group to ask questions.

Wednesdays at 6:00 PM ~ "Twelve Steps for Christians" ~
This group will merge the practical wisdom of the Twelve Steps with the spiritual turths of the Bible. You'll work a traditional Twelve-Step program and name Jesus as your 'Higher Power'. The authors of "The Twelve Steps for Christians" have both a theoretical and personal understanding as a result of their own recovery journeys. They know first-hand how God can use the spiritual essence of the Twelve Steps to transform their lives. This is a journey worth taking and the best part... you don't have to take it alone.

Wednesdays at 6:30 PM ~ "For Men Only" ~
Ted Roberts has written in his book Pure Desire, "All too often, men's lives are publicly shattered by sexual sin that has been going on secretly for years, eroding their lives from the inside out." Here at QVBC, we are committed to the idea that long term health and recovery takes place within the Body of Christ and in particular, small groups. Our FMO group is intended for men who are willing to join other men to experience God's supernatural healing through accountability, truth telling and other spiritual disciplines that bring wholeness back into their lives.A meeting with one of the group leaders (via phone or in person) is required before attending this group.

Thursdays at 6:00 PM ~ "Financial Peace" ~
“Stop worrying about money! This class will teach you how money really works, how to get out of debt, be prepared for emergencies, invest and so much more.” bo you know the three key reasons why you should save money or the secret to developing a monthly spending plan that works? Would you like to debunk debt myths and understand your credit score? How do you navigate the world of insurance and long term investing? Filled with workable solutions, this course is practical and for you.

Saturdays at 7:00 PM ~ "The Power of Praying for Your Adult Children" ~
In the first chapter of this book by Stormie Omartian, she grabs your attention with seven things that a parent of an adult child needs to know. Here are a few of them. You need to know • it never ends • you can’t fix them • God can change everything • you must stop blaming yourself • you have to forgive Are you intrigued yet?
