Light Up the Night is more than a fun fall event. It’s one of the ways we get to love our community and reflect the hope and light of Jesus — by opening our doors, welcoming our neighbors, and creating a night for families to simply enjoy being together.

Parent Workshop: Gospel Conversations at Home
The workshop will focus on equipping parents of preK-6th graders to share the gospel with their children in developmentally appropriate ways, so that they can continue the work of discipleship at home and make faith a part of everyday life. Kristen Bell & Krysta Crouse will help parents understand discipleship from a child development perspective, and explaining the strategy we use in Quaboag Kids for talking about the gospel.
This is a 2-part workshop that will take place on November 1st & November 8th during the 9:30 AM service. We will meet in the front classroom near the library.

Quaboag Church is delighted to introduce a Women’s Bible App discipleship program next month at the beginning of October, designed to fit into your busy lifestyle. Nurture your relationship with God through self-paced, bite-sized readings that require only 5 to 10 minutes of your day.
You can squeeze it in while waiting for an appointment, at a lunch break, or at the start of your day. And, you will share this journey alongside other women who will be your mentors to encourage you along the way.

Join us for a special women’s gathering focused on creativity, generosity, and community connection!
The Homemade with LOVE Market is a swap-style event where participants bring something homemade, handcrafted, or homegrown to share—think baked goods, jams, soaps, candles, crafts, and more.
How it works:
Each participant brings 11 of the same homemade item.
You’ll leave with 10 different handmade items from others.
The 11th item goes into a door prize basket for one lucky winner.
If you’re bringing baked goods or food items, please include a recipe card.
To keep things fun and varied, all participants will check in with Lisa Rogers ahead of time to confirm what they’re bringing (so we don’t end up with duplicates).

Join Quaboag Young Adults for a Thanksgiving celebration filled with good food, fun, and fellowship! Come enjoy an evening of connecting with friends, playing games, and celebrating all we have to be thankful for together.

Ladies, you're invited to join Quaboag Women's Ministry for a morning of faith, fellowship, and Christmas fun!
We're changing things up a little this year with a festive morning of coffee, breakfast pastries, crafting, and a fun group game! It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with other women, enjoy some Christmas cheer, and celebrate the season together.

The Young Adult group will be doing a star gazing night on September 26th in Brookfield.
Marriage Series
Vertical Marriage – Sundays, September 20–October 18
No marriage is perfect—but every marriage can grow. Join Dean and Terri McIsaac for Vertical Marriage, a five-week video study from FamilyLife that explores how putting your relationship with God first transforms your relationship with your spouse.
Whether you're newly married or have been together for decades, this series offers practical, biblical encouragement to help you strengthen your marriage, improve communication, and grow together in Christ.
Two session times are available each Sunday:9:30 AM or 11:00 AM, and childcare is available during both sessions, making it easy for families to participate.

Women's Gospel of Luke Study
Quaboag Women’s Ministry is launching an additional fall Bible study beginning the week of September 14! Women can choose the option that best fits their schedule and study style:
Online YouVersion Study — Begins September 14 with a 76-day study through the Gospel of Luke. Spend 15–20 minutes each day reading, watching short videos, and connecting with others in the app.
In-Person Friday Study — Begins September 18 at Quaboag Church for an 8-week study of Luke: Gut-Level Compassion by Lisa Harper. Pizza will be available each week for a donation!
Women from both studies are also invited to connect on Sundays at the Footsteps of Faith Café for coffee, conversation, and fellowship.

Women’s Bible Study
What does it really mean to be a woman after God’s own heart?
Join us for an 11 week study on Monday evenings from 6:00–7:30 PM as we walk through the life of David using Beth Moore’s David: Seeking A Heart Like His. Together, we’ll explore David’s victories, struggles, faith, and failures and discover what it means to pursue a heart that seeks after God.
Classes start on September 14 and books are $17, with payment due the first night of the study.

Catalyst Promotion Night
Join us as we kick off a new ministry year at Catalyst Promotion Night! We'll celebrate every student moving up to their next grade and officially welcome our incoming 7th graders into Catalyst.
This evening is for all Catalyst students and their families. We'll enjoy s'mores and watermelon together, celebrate what God is doing, and spend a few minutes sharing what students and parents can expect in the year ahead.
If you're a parent, we'd especially love for you to be there. We'll introduce you to the Catalyst team, share important information, and help you get connected so you know what's happening throughout the year. We believe students thrive when families are engaged, and we'd love to partner with you as we invest in the next generation.

We will meet downstairs in the fellowship hall at the church immediately following the 3rd service on the first Sunday of each month, June - August.
Our Summer Schedule
August 2: Mary Magdalene – The Walk of Transformation
Devotional Focus: Mary was the first to walk to the tomb and witness the risen Christ. We celebrate how an encounter with Jesus changes our entire path.
Details to Remember
Bring a Bagged Lunch: We will eat together downstairs before heading out to our walking destination.
Gear Up: Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle.
Rain or Shine: If the weather is poor, we will still hold our devotional and fellowship time indoors.
We look forward to growing closer to God and one another one step at a time!

Drop-In Devos for Women
Mondays • 6:00–7:00 PM • This Summer at Quaboag Church
Looking for a simple way to stay connected to God's Word during the busy summer months? Join us for Drop-In Devos, a relaxed women's devotional gathering where you can come whenever you're able—no homework, no pressure, and no need to attend every week.
This summer we'll be reading and discussing selections from Life: An Obsessively Grateful, Genuinely Happy, and Not Faking It Through the Hard Stuff by Lisa Harper. Lisa is known for her engaging Bible teaching, authentic faith, and hilarious storytelling. She has a unique gift for helping women laugh out loud one minute and be deeply encouraged by God's truth the next. Her down-to-earth style reminds us that following Jesus isn't about pretending life is perfect—it's about finding hope, joy, and gratitude even in the middle of life's challenges.
Whether you're a longtime believer or just looking for encouragement, we'd love to have you join us at the church. Bring a friend, bring your Bible, and drop in as your schedule allows!
Annual Meeting
Our Annual Meeting is coming up on Sunday, June 14 at 12:30 PM right here at the church. This is an important time to reflect on the past year, look ahead to what’s next, and vote on key decisions for the future of our church. Members are especially encouraged to attend.

Memorial Day Parade & Picnic
UPDATE: Due to the rain, we have a change in plans for today's Memorial Day events.
Instead of the parade, we'll now be meeting from 10:00-11:00 AM in the auditorium at Brookfield Elementary School.
After that, we'll head back to the church for the picnic & fun with things starting closer to 11:30 AM-12:00 PM.
We're looking forward to spending the day together!

Join us on Memorial Day for a fun filled day!
If you are marching in the parade, please meet at Brookfield Elementary school. Step-off is scheduled for 10 AM. We will march to the common and then go to the cemetery for a brief ceremony.
After the parade we will meet back at the church at 1:00 PM for a picnic! Enjoy burgers, hot dogs, a bounce house, trivia with prizes, and more—just bring a side or dessert to share. We can't wait to fellowship together and with our community.

Why Do We Need the Bible? By Lisa Harper
The Bible is a wonderful book filled with poetry, historical events, exciting narratives, and stories from the life of Jesus. But because it is an ancient text, it can also be intimidating and confusing. Its complexity makes many people wonder if we even need the Bible—can’t we experience God without it? In this six-session series, author and Bible teacher Lisa Harper unpacks the value and importance of the Bible for everyday believers. In this series, we will learn about what the Bible is, how God communicates with us through it, and why we should read it.

Our vibrant youth community meets weekly on Wednesday nights from 6-8pm to explore faith, engage in meaningful discussions, and build lasting friendships. Join Jim Casey every Monday from 1-3pm as he leads an exploration of various biblical topics. Currently focusing on The Prophets. This ongoing study encourages participants to delve deeper into Scripture and its application in our lives.

Join us for our Men’s Ministry Breakfast, held on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 8 AM! Start your morning with a hearty meal, meaningful fellowship, and an encouraging time of faith-building with other men. Mens Bible Study
Dive deep into the Book of Ruth with fellow men seeking to understand and live out God's Word. Led by Pastor Kyle, this study provides an opportunity to grow in faith and fellowship. Join us at the church on Thursday nights at 6pm for insightful discussions and spiritual growth.

Men's Group: Pure Desire Study
Ted Roberts has written in his book, Pure Desire, “All too often, men’s lives are publicly shattered by sexual sin that has been going on secretly for years, eroding their lives from the inside out.” Our FMO group is intended for guys who are willing to join other men to experience God’s supernatural healing through accountability, truth telling and other spiritual disciplines that bring wholeness back into their lives.
