FAQs

Why does the church talk about money at all?

Because Jesus did…a lot. Roughly one out of every ten verses in the Gospels addresses money or possessions. He knew our finances reveal what we trust. The goal isn’t fundraising, it’s heart formation (Matthew 6:21).

How do I give at Quaboag?

In person: Three black giving boxes in the sanctuary.

Online: Through the website or app.

Automated giving: Set up recurring giving for consistency.

By mail: To the church address.

How does Quaboag use the money that’s given?

Every dollar supports ministry: Sunday and weekly gatherings, discipleship, community outreach, local and global missions, meeting financial needs in our church and community, leadership development, the building, staff and much more. Budgets are approved by leadership, voted on by members, and available for review at any time.

Do I have to be a church member to participate in counseling or classes?

No — you don’t have to be a member, but we do ask that you are currently attending Quaboag Church or actively exploring our church community.

What if I’m already “doing fine” financially—should I still go through the Financial Peace Class?

Absolutely! The class isn’t just for debt-crisis. It’s for everyone who wants to steward what they have with clarity, purpose and generosity.

Where can I learn more about how Quaboag Church views giving?

Check out our recent series, Grateful Giver, Trust and spiritual formation. We want to be a church known for gratitude, not guilt, generosity, not greed. We want something for you, not something from you.
